superb quality original antique painted bed dating around 1880, the paint
finish on this bed has been replaced by a professional restorer and has a
traditional waxed sheen. This painted French bed has its original carved
gilded decoration which is excellent quality and in good original condition.
This king size antique bed has been professionally re upholstered in pale
cream shot silk with foliate pattern.
Rarely found in antique beds this is a full UK king size and will take a 5 foot x 6 foot 6
mattress.
head board is 52 inches high and foot board 31 inches
Condition report: excellent condition some of the gold leaf shows slight wear which is normal for a bed this age.
Price: £ 1650 including a new upholstered base.
